A community where every learner on the autism spectrum in South Africa is confident, capable, and connected, equipped with the skills to thrive at school, at home, and at work.
Ubuntu Youth Organisation is a KwaZulu-Natal-based organisation committed to creating meaningful educational opportunities for learners on the autism spectrum. We believe every learner has unique strengths, potential and a right to an education that recognises their individual needs.
Our approach is centred on individualised, outcome-based education, supporting learners to develop communication, learning, social and life skills that contribute to greater independence. Through personalised learning pathways, continuous progress tracking and collaboration with families, educators and community partners, we focus on outcomes that extend beyond the classroom into everyday life.
Our goal is to empower learners with the skills, confidence and support they need to participate meaningfully at school, at home, in their communities and, where possible, in future education or employment opportunities.
Empowering Potential . Building Independence . Creating Futures.
